Delaware Area Chamber Membership Benefits

Chamber Committees

Implementation of the Chamber's strategic plan is facilitated by member volunteers who serve on various committees at the direction of the Chamber's governing board.

Economic and workforce development interests are served by two main committees, each responsible for keeping up on issues within their purview at the local, state and federal level:

      -Infrastructure/Development
      -Workforce Development, and Education

The Chamber encourages participation by members who choose to use the Chamber to channel their resources in order to ensure that the community is a vibrant place to live and conduct commerce.

In addition, the Chamber finance, audit and nominating committees meet annually as needed. Periodic ad hoc committees are formed for specific purposes such as By Laws review.

Special Interest Councils:
HR Council
Manufacturers Council
Non-Profit Agency Council

The Chamber’s mission is fulfilled through the work of its committees. Committee members are chamber volunteers. By working together, committee members get to know each other and form relationships that translate into business lead.

The Chamber values its members for the resources they are and the way in which they contribute their time and talent to the mission, vision, and value of their organization.

Programs, Events and Networking

ANNUAL AWARDS DINNER

This is the premier event in Delaware County. We combine the Chamber’s annual dinner with a much anticipated awards ceremony. Every year, the Chamber recognizes businesses and individuals in several categories for their outstanding accomplishments. While the awards are the focus of the evening, the highlight is the spectacular tables that our members so memorably decorate. Where else can you find a giant octopus made of paint samples? Or a knight in shining armor named Frank? Click here for more information and photos.

ANNUAL CLAY CLASSIC

Similar to the Golf Outing, this event is becoming increasing popular. We hold the event at Black Wing Shooting Center and we always have a blast! (Pun intended) Click here for more information and photos.

ANNUAL GOLF OUTING

A quintessential golf outing held in June when the weather is still cool, this is one of our most popular annual events. Bring some clients or reward your outstanding employees by golfing with us! Click here for more information and photos.
